The design of Kiiruna was inspired by the rugged Nordic landscape. The staggered shape of Kiiruna echoes the snow-covered fells. In the same way as snow reflects light and makes the surroundings look brighter on a dark winter day, Kiiruna lights up a space with its chilled beauty.
